The Client
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Quantity Surveyor for our client who offer full MEP services throughout the UK. The company is based in the Midlands and has grown steadily over the last few decades building a solid client base who use them for repeat business. In the Maintenance QS role, you will be based from offices at Wombourne and Wolverhampton and will also be required to do site visits to Stafford.
The Role and its Responsibilities
- Assisting with day to day QS duties
- Budget control
- Risk mitigation
- Responsible for sub-contractors
- Maintain contractual compliances
- Monitor administration of projects
- Cash flow
- H&S compliance
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Production of regular cost/valuation reports
The Individual
The company is looking for a candidate with intermediate experience within the Facilities M&E Maintenance sector. You should have experience at working with M&E maintenance / schedule of rates contracts, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and must be experienced at working with relevant industry software.
