Our client are recruiting for an FM Quantity Surveyor for a role which will be based in their offices in the North-West. They are a progressive, forward thinking company who provide sustainable energy solution projects throughout the UK. Mech Electrics have worked with the client for well over a decade and this would be a fantastic opportunity for an FM Quantity Surveyor to join their team. 

The Role and the Responsibilities

• Selection and management of contractors
• Contractual compliance
• Customer relationship maintainance
• Attendance of project meetings
• Risk mitigation
• Updating of forecasts
• Procurement activities
• Adequately protect against variants
• Monitor and control costs and values
• Preparation of periodic reports

The Individual

Our client is looking for a candidate with excellent communication and skills, both written and verbal. You should have an analytical approach to your work and be detail orientated. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualification
• IT proficient, including Excel
• Use of estimation software 
• Health and Safety knowledge

Salary and Package 

£45-50K plus car/allowance and company benefits. The client is a confidently growing company and this is a fantastic time for a motivated applicant to join their busy commercial team.
