Our client have a new role for an Electrically biased Technical Manager to join their team in the Salford area. The client are a well regarded Tier 1 M&E contractor who currently have some diverse and exciting projects that they are working on throughout the UK  

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Management of the technical risk and opportunities
• Design optimisation 
• Risk mitigation
• Ensure works compliance
• Responsible for internal and external designs
• Ensure H&S is adhered to
• Offer technical advise to other areas of the business
• Production of fees 
• Technical cost and programme management 
• Monthly project reports
• Conduct design/technical reviews of internal and external designs 
• Ensure compliance to legal and contracted requirements
• Apply current legislations for building regulations 
• Build and maintain relationships 

The Individual

The client is looking for an extensively experienced candidate from an MEP design / technical management background. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Industry recognized qualification 
• Several years' experience in a simialr role
• Good working knowledge of D&B contracts and commercial management 

Salary and Package

£55-60K plus car / allowance with excellent company benefits and career prospects
