Our client is recruiting for a Site Installation Manager for a permanent role, initially to be based in Manchester with UK wide projects in the pipeline. They are a company who are well regarded in their field of providing sustainable energy solutions to public and private businesses and work throughout the UK on many and varied high profile projects.
The Role and its Responsibilities
Ensuring the delivery of project to programme requirements
Revision of programme where necessary
Recording of clients requirements
Maintenance of on-site records
Processing of records and providing information for the weekly progress reports
Assessment of sub-contractors and their performance
Attending weekly meetings
Risk assessment, auditing and method statement production
Responsible for issuing of permits
Submit Isolation Schedules to PM
Overall management of Plant, Civil, M&E Installations
Ensure supervision of sub-contractors
Assist the customer and operations department with commissioning, performance testing and handover
Schedule and action site inspections, reporting findings onto SHE Assure System
Enforcing a safe system of working
Responsible for health and safety on site
Snagging management
Preparation of O&M manuals
The Individual
Our client is looking for a flexible candidate who is willing to work some weekends where required and can manage their own workload. You will be required to meet the following criteria:
Strong team player
Minimum of 5 years' experience at managing complex, site based installations
Experience with steam and plant installations
Reciprocating Combined Heat and Power systems
Heat Pump Installation experience
HV Generation
Understanding of basic Civil works and setting out
Skills and Qualifications
SMSTS/SSSTS
CSCS SSSTS Card
Manual Handling
In depth Knowledge of the Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015
Microsoft Word, Excel and Project competency
Able to manage own workload
Salary and Package
Up to £55K with excellent company package and car/allowance
