Our client is a progressive and innovative leader in the field of sustainable, renewable energies and we are recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to be based from their Blackburn offices. The company have numerous high profile projects underway and also in the pipeline, and having worked with this client for well over a decade, we can highly recommend this as a great opportunity to join their team. 

The Role and its Responsibilites

• Preparation of estimates
• Procurement lists
• Approval of installation designs
• Analysis of CAD (to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates)
• Tracking and reporting of costs
• Preparation of cost and expenditure statements
• Attendance of meetings 

The Individual

A suitable applicant will need to have excellent negotiation skills and be able to build and maintain good working relationships. You should be able to understand the clients projects in order to ensure the best tenders can be submitted. Although not a pre-requisite, knowledge of solar panels would be a good addition to a candidates CV! 

Skills and Qualifications

• HND/HNC qualified 
• Industry software proficient
• C&G 19th edition
• Experience in an estimating role on a variety of projects
• Up to date with building regulations 
• Industry supply chain knowledge 

Salary and Package

£55-62,500K plus package and £6.5K car/allowance
