The Client

Mech Electrics are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our client, a Tier 1 M&E contractor. They are recruiting for their commercial team based in the Salford area and have many exciting projects in the pipeline!

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Mentoring of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Surveyors
• Ensure that H&S is kept as a priority throughout projects
• Review contract T&C's 
• Risk mitigation
• Ensure contract compliance
• Liaising with project teams
• Cash flow and revenue forecasting and monitoring
• Procurement and management of sub-contractors
• Provide accurate reports and maintain these 
• Dispute resolutions if required

The Individual

The client is looking for a confident applicant who can maintain excellent working relationships as you will be working with Project team and Commercial Manager to settle final accounts and sign off.

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant industry degree/BSc or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
• English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role

Salary and Package

£60-65K plus excellent company benefits including a pension, private healthcare and car/allowance.
