The Client

Our market leading client provides the design, install and maintenance of sustainable energy systems to many varying public and private businesses. They supply innovative low carbon energy solutions within a wide variety of sectors and currently have a vacancy for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work in the North-West on a £13M scheme.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As a Senior member of this team your responsibilities will include:

• Review of tenders to ensure a suitable supply chain partner is secured
• Costings- from tender to final bid
• Financial management of contracts, working alongside the Contracts and Project Managers
• Preparation and actioning of contract documents, including sub-contractors 
• Organising payments and invoices for company and sub-contractors
• Producing monthly reports for progress meetings
• Vetting contractual terms and conditions and amending with the client where necessary
• Supporting the commercial team
• Monitoring risks and assisting with mitigation measures
• Variation management to ensure favourable financial outcome

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree Qualified Quantity Surveyor
• IT Literate, Financial and Contract Management software packages is advantageous.
• Full valid UK driving licence

£56-65K plus excellent company benefits
