The Client

A UK wide construction and services company, our client has numerous regional offices capable of providing local support for its clients. Working on both private and public sector projects they have an extensive variety of high profile projects under their belt and are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a high value project in the Northampton area. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Electrical Engineer you will be working with the Site Team to ensure the smooth running and quality finished project with competency in the following areas:

• Helping to prepare the initial drawings
• Establishing systems to record works
• Review and recording of works progress
• Budget and timescale constraints kept to
• Equipment delivery is recording and checking certificates
• Setting up clear routes for communication between departments and workers
• Working to Health and Safety regulations 
• Responsible for dimensional control for accuracy of construction
• Ensuring a quality completion of the project

The Individual 

The company are looking for a time served, preferably local, Senior Electrical Engineer who can communicate effectively and collaborate well with co workers. You must be happy to travel, initially within the local area and later throughout the UK if required on further projects. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Hold relevant qualification at HNC, BTEC, NVQ 4 or equivalent.
• Familiarisation with Quality Management System.
