The Client
Mech Electrics are a thriving recruitment company established in 2007 and we currently have a requirement for an experienced recruitment resourcer to join our friendly Macclesfield based team. Through choice we have always remained a very small agency, however we are now looking for an ambitious individual, someone who is hungry for success and money, to join the company. From day one you will work on live vacancies for a company who has a strong foothold and a solid reputation in our industry sector, and this will be a very busy desk!
The Role and its Responsibilities
- Candidate generation, mainly phone based, chasing leads from candidates and following up all intel gathered to create significant networks in our sector of construction.
- Information gathering, new projects, existing projects using agencies, business connections, who also recruit.
- Networking of candidates, who they work with, projects they're on, mapping out of their colleagues and establishing relationships and a rapport with numerous people quickly.
- Taking references on prospective candidates, allows you to get to understand the client side of recruitment.
- Identifying potential recruitment leads from conversations and acting on the knowledge.
- Supporting our consultants with quality CV’s, ready to have them submitted to our client network.
- Job advert writing
- Building regional candidate hotlists on recruitment database
- Answering enquiries from candidates relating to pay, job descriptions etc.
The Individual
We are looking for a confident, personable candidate with an excellent telephone manner. An ideal applicant must have a persuasive nature and be someone who is persistant and able to gain a candidates confidence! Organizational skills will be a must and you should be able to work on your own initiative, prioritizing your workload for maximum productivity and we are offering a self-motivated candidate the opportunity to progress with their career.
You should have an understanding of the overall recruitment process from the initial resourcing stage to candidate placement and experience within a building services/construction environment would be preferable.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a recruitment resourcer role
- IT skills
- Experience at working with recruitment job boards
- Phone based experience (not necessarily in recruitment)
Salary
£21,000 – £25,500k dependant on experience, plus commission from day one. You will be given full training and support and we are able to provide further training with a significant agency in North Wales to enable you to progress with your career in recruitment with us. This opportunity will be at our expense!
