The Client

Our client, a successful, Midlands-based M&E Contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. They provide integrated building services and standalone mechanical or electrical services from inception through to project completion. They are highly experienced in the use of BIM and CAD technology and work through from design to installation and commissioning of all the building services necessary to provide the end user with sustainable and efficient buildings. They work within diverse sectors to deliver M&E projects and have a full order book for future projects!

The Role and its Responsibilities

The Project Quantity Surveyor will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for:

• Valuation of works and dealing with variations
• Commercial and contractual risks
• Working to timescales
• Budget and cost controlling
• Invoice and payment of customers and suppliers
• Report compilation for company and client 
• Client relations
• Risk Management

The Individual

The client is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor who has direct experience within M&E and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be organized and be able to prioritize workloads.

Skills and Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
