The Client

Our client is a leading global contractor in the building services market and are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with good M&E experience. The successful candidate will be based in Northampton on the site of a prestigious new build project with an M&E value of £70 million.This position is for a permanent Quantity Surveyor role and this is a great time to join this leading contractor who are self-delivering the MEP on this fantastic scheme.

The Role and its Responsibilities

You will be required to provide financial and commercial support including but not limited to:

• Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
• Prepararation of bills of quantities
• Assistance with Pricing Variation accounts and sub-contract accounts.
• The life cycle and whole life cost analyses
• Providing Weekly Reports (Progress and Contract) to Senior Managers.

The Individual

Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has a positive, proactive outlook to their work. They require an individual who can work collaboratively with colleagues and the client team and who have good negotiation, communication and reporting skills.

Qualified at degree level or working towards relevant industry qualifications
