The Client
We are currently recruiting for a fully experienced Quality Assurance Officer for our client, a long established major manufacturing engineering company. The company are at the forefront of their sector and have a multitude of blue chip clients from a wide range of industries including nuclear, oil and gas, defence, civils and aerospace.
The role and its responsibilities
As Quality Assurance Officer your responsibilties will be:
- Ensuring the company's certified systems requirements are achieved
- Ensure that company compliance with management systems and maintain certificates are adhered to
- Review and improvement of Company QMS in line with ISO9001 continued accreditation
- Planning and actioning both internal and external audits of Quality Manual and Business Procedures
- Actioning of quality/inspection plans to meet standards
- Management of Vendor list
- Implement Supplier Audits
- Manage companys NCR, customer complaint and improvements
- Trend analysis
- Training on quality systems
- Assist with project quality documents production
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post
- Overall ensurance that company and clients' quality requirements are adhered to
The Individual
Our client is Looking for a flexible candidate who can communicate well and work effectively as part of a team or under their own initiative. You should have excellent management skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
Skills and qualifications
- BSI Diploma in Quality Management
- Experience of ISO9001
- Certified Quality auditor or strong audit experience
- Lead auditor qualification would be a great addition to an applicants CV
- Good IT Knowledge with appropriate qualification
Salary and package
