Mech Electrics are recruiting for 2/3 Project Quantity Surveyors for our client who provide cost management staff within the M&E field. These roles will based in the St Paul's area of London although there is the opportunity to work from home on this longterm contract role which will last 2/3years.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Pricing up of data centre projects at varying stages of RIBA, from stages 2-4
• Valuation of works and dealing with variations
• Commercial and contractual risks
• Working to timescales, deadlines
• Overall management of commercial team
• Budget and cost controlling
• Invoice and payment of customers and suppliers
• Report compilation for company and client 
• Client relations
• Job close out, settling of accounts
• Risk Management

The Individual

Our client is looking for individuals who are fully experienced in a similar role and who will be able to manage commercial opportunities and risks effectively. An excellent communicator, you should be able to prioritise the workload and work well as part of a team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Industry degree qualification
• IT literate
• NEC contract knowledge
• Relevant software package experience
