Mech Electrics are recruiting for Project Quantity Surveyors for both permanent and contract M&E vacancies for our client. The company supplies cost management staff for projects throughout the North-West and these positions will be diverse in the nature of projects and the point of entry on the works and will be site based along the M62 corridor. The client has an excellent reputation in their field and supplies staff to tier one contractors and blue chip companies.  

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Valuation of works and dealing with variations
• Commercial and contractual risks
• Working to timescales, deadlines
• Overall management of commercial team
• Budget and cost controlling
• Invoice and payment of customers and suppliers
• Report compilation for company and client 
• Client relations
• Job close out, settling of accounts
• Risk Management

The Individual

Our client is looking for individuals who are fully experienced in a similar role and who will be able to manage commercial opportunities and risks effectively. An excellent communicator, you should be able to prioritise the workload and work well as part of a team. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant degree qualification
• IT literate
• NEC contract knowledge
• Relevant software package experience

Salary and Package

£45-52K pa or £300-325 for the contracts role, plus excellent company package.
