We are currently recruiting for an Project Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the commercial team at our clients thriving consultancy firm based in the North-West. They are looking for a candidate with strong pre-construction skills and it would be desirable, but not essential, for an applicant to have worked within a consultancy previously. Our client works with numerous blue chip companies and has an excellent industry reputation! 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Quantity Surveyors at all stages of projects
• Support Project Managers with post contract management processes
• Contract negotiation
• Cost planning 
• NEC contract experience
• Submissions
• Adherance to company procedures
• Ability to maximise profitablity on projects
• Analysis of tender submissions
• Attend project reviews
• Invoicing payments
• Commercial risk register
• Excellent supply chain knowledge
• Responsible for end of life forecasting

The Individual

In the role you will have to communicate effectively with co-workers and management staff and be able to work well as part of a team. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in the role and have exceptional numeracy and financial skills with the ability to handle difficult accounts.

Skills and Qualification

• Relevant degree qualification and on the job experience
• IT literate
• Experience at working on relevant software packages

Salary and Package

• £35-40k plus company benefits
