The Client

One of the UK's largest independent building services contractors, our client provides high quality work throughout design, installation and maintenance of their projects. By working closely with their clients and keeping up to date with developments in the building services field, they can ensure the success of projects over a wide range of sectors from commercial, residential, retail and leisure. They have a Project Manager role that has just come available and ideally you should be Mechanically biased and Yorkshire based. The project has a high £105m value for construction and £15m MEP and a run time of 15 months. You would be working over numerous apartment buildings whose works are at various stages of completion, along with a stand alone energy centre which is about to go through to commissioning phase.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Reporting to Contracts Manager
• Lead the entire project
• Management of engineers and supervisors
• Liaising with senior management and main contractor
• Regular contact with design team
• Organising supply chain, sub-contractors and material suppliers 
• Report production and presentation
• H&S on site
• Budget control
• Maintaining realtionships on site and with clients, management and main contractor

The Individual

As the project is already set up with an efficient team and there is a good working relationship with the main contractor, the company need an experienced Project Manager who can join the projects seamlessly. Skills and Qualifications

• Industry recognised Mechanical Engineering/Building Services qualification
• Project Management aspirations or experience

Salary and Package

£60-66k plus a great company package, including a car/allowance.
