Our client are looking for a Project Manager with experience from either a mechanical, production or construction field to work from their offices in North Manchester. The company manufacture specialist, high quality security system doors for clients in nuclear, defence and security sectors and provide these to businesses internationally.  

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Overall management of contract from reciept to install
• Strategic planning, risk and change management
• Project and resource planning
• Budget and time constraints kept on schedule
• Risk management 
• Cost to completion control
• Ensuring contract requirements are maintained
• Health and Safety
• Team motivation
• Work effectively with other teams on projects
• Documentation filing
• Progress report production
• Management of sub-contractors
• Identify changes that need to be made and implement

The Individual

The client is looking for a Project Manager who has excellent analytical and problem solving skills and who can complete projects to the best outcome. Written and oral communication skills must also be shown as you will be expected to liaise within group situations or on an individual basis with an emphasis on client management. As there will be some national and international travel you will need to be flexible.  

Skills and Qualifications

• Project Management qualification
• Degree/HND in Mechanical and Production Biased Engineering or Construction
• Work experience in a highly regulated industry
• Knowledge of PM techniques and tools; Work Packages, MS Project, Primavera P6
• Working knowledge of NEC procedures
• People management
• H&S qualification

Salary and Package

£50-55K plus pension
