The Client

Our client is recruiting for an MEP Project Manager for a role which will ultimately be based in their London office in the Kings Cross area. The company work in the field of commercial real estates and create innovative solutions for their worldwide clients who come from varying sectors. You will be working with the accounts team providing project delivery throughout the region and the client is looking for a candidate with 7 years' experience in a similar role. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Working with the project teams to plan various project requirements
• Briefing of MEP consultants for projects
• Reviewing of 3rd party reports and documents
• Review of drawings and specs
• Resolve any issues when necessary
• Assist with lease negotiations
• Support teams with the tender processes
• Attendance of tender interviews
• Endorsement of final recommendations
• Attending meetings throughout project 
• Review and advise on MEP, Controls and Digital Building Standards
• Attendance of design meetings 
• Assisting with account initiatives
• Contributing to Value Engineering workshops if required 

The Individual

Suitable applicants must have be flexible as the role will require some travel for projects. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build effective teams, taking into account varying cultures of the workforce. You must be an effective problem solver who comes with an excellent customer service record!

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters in Engineering or equivalent M/E qualification
• 7 years' experience (preferably with building services, building control systems and / or design of critical engineering environments)
• An engineering related professional body qualification
• Multi-disciplined engineering skills

Salary and Package

The client is offering a salary of up to £75K + 15% bonus, ca /  allowance, healthcare and pension. 
Remote working to begin, eventually hybrib between London based office (Kings Cross)
