As a progressive competitor within the field of renewable energy, our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on a boiler replacement and upgrade project in the South-West. This project will be on a MOD site so candidates will reqire appropriate clearance or the ability to obtain this. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

In the role of Mechanical Supervisor, you must be able to display experience in the following areas:

• Providing technical support to testing operatives
• Inspections of installations and site
• Checking and final sign off of installations 
• Organizing site teams
• Working to H&S regulatory standards
• Attending meetings on projects
• Management of sub-contractors
• Material ordering
• Record maintenance

The Individual

The role needs a confident individual who can work in a sometimes-pressurised environment, a team player and leader! You must be organised and motivated and be able to prioritize workloads for the best project outcome.

Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualifications
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• Knowledge of current H&S legislation 

Salary and Package

£38-42K plus excellent company package to include pension and healthcare.
