The Role

Joining the team as a Site Engineer (T1 Supervisor) on a significant project at Manchester Airport, this role will involve the refurbishing of Terminal 2 and the construction of a new departure pier with works being valued at over £100m. The client are looking for a candidate with a strong Mechanical bias to manage and monitor safety performance, resource deployment, and productivity for site-based activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scope and Installation Methods: Ensure precise delivery of customer requirements, enhancing efficiency and profitability.
  • Project Programme Delivery: Lead the delivery of the project programme in line with the Supervisor Responsibility Matrix.
  • Financial and Commercial Objectives: Manage engineering solutions and installations to achieve financial and commercial goals.
  • Reporting: Provide timely and accurate information for site progress and financial reports.
  • Workforce Management: Oversee direct and indirect frontline workforce, ensuring high engagement and performance to meet objectives.
  • Customer Relationship: Maintain positive relationships with project customers through efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in large Mechanical projects as a Site Manager or Site Engineer.
  • Mechanical Bias: Strong background in mechanical engineering.
  • Management Skills: Effective management of safety performance, resource deployment, and productivity.
