Mech Electrics are looking to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager to work in the Manchester Airport area for our client who provide both construction and M&E on projects. They are a growing company with a growing order book and they specialise in cleanroom and controlled environments. Candidates must have some experience in the pharma, food or cleanroom areas as the Health and Safety is paramount in this role!

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Pre-construction site set up
• Tendering and estimating for new works
• Responsible for Health & Safety on site 
• Placing and procuring subcontract orders
• Successful working relationship alongside other managers and team
• Procurement of materials and specialist sub-contractors
• Management of sub-contractors 
• Report production throughout project lifecycle
• Development and maintenance of key relationships
• Supporting senior management

The Individual

We are looking for an aspiring Project Engineer or junior Mechanical PM to fill this Mechanical Project Manager role. The client needs a confident individual who can communicate effectively with their team and with senior management. 

Skills and Qualifications

• C&G or HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• IT skilled
• H&S related qualification

Salary and Package

Our client is offering up to £55K per annum plus an excellent company package for the Mechanical Project Manager role.
