The Client

Our client is a leading M&E contractor in the North-West and they are currently experiencing a period of growth. As a result of this we are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager with a strong bias at working with air conditionin which will be based in the Greater Manchester area.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Review of estimates
• Keeping within the budget and time constraints
• Report writing for meetings
• A full and up to date understanding of H&S and legislations
• Overall responsibility for management of team and sub-contractors
• Strong client facing skills
• Working with the design, project, planning, and commercial teams
• Contract Management
• IT knowledge
• Communication and presentation skills
• Assisting planners to ensure materials and contractors are being implemented at correct times

The Individual

A suitable candidate must have excellent communication skills and strong client facing skills and you must be able to prioritise works to ensure the successful competion of projects for both the client and company. 

Skills and Qualifications

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Project Management. 
• Experience at working on AC units and installs

Salary and Package

Our client is offering a salary of £45-50K plus package and a car/allowance and due to their current work loads this opportunity also give excellent scope for a candidate wishing to progress with a successful M&E company.
