The Client

Our multi award winning client provides design, install and maintenance of forward thinking, sustainable energy systems to many diverse public and private businesses. In line with modern technologies, they pride themselves on innovative and individual solutions which will futureproof individual projects and have a project due to go live early 2019 for which they need a Mechanical Project Manager. This engineering project will be based in Manchester City Centre and have a value in excess of £20 million.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As a competent Mechanical Project Manager you will be responsible in the role for:

• Ensuring that the design and installation of projects are to an excellent standard, meeting both the clients and companies specifications and requirements.
• Overseeing the budget and ensuring time constraints are kept to.
• Ensuring maximum profit can be achieved and that projects are delivered to the highest of standards whilst complying to all relevant legislation's.
• Producing reports on a regular basis showing a full understanding of ongoing projects.
• Leading of the project teams with confidence and ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to throughout the life cycle of works.
• Writing programmes, attending meetings, and holding overall responsibility for site staff will be part of this Mechanical role. 
• You must be confident in your ability to interact with all levels of staff.

The Individual

Our client is looking for a candidate who has a previously successful track record in a similar role and who is commercially aware.  

Skills and Qualifications

ONC/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Project Management. 

Salary and Package

£60-70K plus excellent benefits
