The Client
A well-known National M&E Contractor who are Principal Contractor for a new multi-million-pound power project. The client is a key provider of complex projects and has a huge in-house support mechanism in place, including a large off-site manufacturing facility. You will have a full array of company back up from design engineers, commercial support, buyers and commissioning engineers. We have worked in partnership with this contractor for over a decade, they are a quality company who are well organised, and effective at managing quality engineering projects.
The role and its responsibilities
- All aspects of health and safety, operational performance, commercial management, sub-contractor appointments, client meetings and team management through the project life cycle.
- You will work closely with the project engineers and all the supervision team and have a complete understanding of the entire project, including the initial construction phase (basic shed circa £1.5M).
The Individual
- We are looking for a mechanically biased Project Manager who has a complete background either in building services, or energy centers to manage the project from start to end.
- You must be able to demonstrate a solid career within this environment to date, it is essential due to the nature of the works that your main discipline is Mechanical.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualified to at least HND / Degree level.
Salary and Package
Negotiable day rate dependent on experience.
