The Client

Our client are recruiting for 2 Mechanical Project Engineers to work on sites throughout the North-West and are looking for experienced applicants who can support the PM's on varying projects. The company are a leading force within the world of engineering and construction and have grown nationally over the years. In addition to general construction, their chief area of expertise is M&E services and they have been involved in countless prestigious projects throughout the UK. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Support all technical aspects of the mechanical installation
• Interpret and adapt designs
• Work compatably alongside the Electrical Project Engineers 
• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in contracts 
• Regularly attend meetings with the client and keep your PM updated 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Manage sub-contractors 
• Commercial awareness within the role
• Knowledge of industry legislation
• Health and Safety knowledge up to date
• Experience with supply chain and contacts

The Individual

Our client is looking for time served Mechanical Project Engineers who are happy in the role and will efficiently support their PM's on site. 

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, or equivalent
• Role experience on a wide range of projects
• Several years' experience in an Mechanical Project Engineer role
• CSCS card

Salary and Package

Up to £55K per annum plus company package
