The Client

Mech Electrics are currently recruiting for a site based Mechanical Project Engineer for our client who we have worked with for over a decade. The company designs, installs and maintains Energy Centres CHP, District Heating schemes for major residential and commercial developments, associated MEP works and BMS systems and have an excellent industry reputation in this area of decentralised energy and carbon footprint reduction. The role will entail you working on the district heating, heat pumps and the remodelling of these services and will be a permanent position with excellent career prospects. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

  • On time and within budget work completion
  • Ensuring works are completed to agreed standards 
  • Identification and management of risks 
  • Putting in place of mitigation measures
  • Management of sub-contractors and team performance 
  • Good working knowledge of supply chains
  • Attending design meetings 
  • Up to date working experience of industry legislations 
  • Proficiency at working on designs at the initial and ongoing phases
  • Work to improve the results for both client and company
  • Contribute in your role to provide a financially sound outcome for all parties

The Individual 

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join them on site at a busy hospital project. An ideal candidate should be a good team player with the ability to manage works smoothly and effectively and you should bring a solid working knowledge of supply chains. 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree/HNC/HND qualified
  • Experienced in a Project Engineer role

Salary and Package

Offering a salary of between £50-55K along with company package and car/allowance.
