The Client

Being a major M&E contractor our client has a full order book of works for the foreseeable future and currently have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join its team on a prestigious, high value project in the Northamptonshire area. In this role you will have responsibility for the mechanical site wide infrastructure and building interfaces and the company is looking for someone to join their management delivery team.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Installation works, PPM's and callouts for Mechanical and HVAC works
• Record keeping, both hard copy and electronic
• Maintenance of working relationships, both client and colleague
• Attending meetings 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation with an understanding of the budget of the project at any given time
• Management of the sub-contractors 
• Support of all technical aspects of the mechanical installation
• Health and Safety adherance

The Individual

Communication skills will be key to the success of this role as you will be liaising with clients and work colleagues. Due to their many and varied commitments our client is keen to take on an individual who wants to progress within their field. 

Skills and Qualifications

NVQ or equivalent qualification
Good communicator, verbal and written
IT literate
Full UK drivers license

Salary and Package
