One of the leading M&E contractors in the UK our client covers all areas within their field, excelling at providing cost effective solutions for varying projects. There is currently an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work between their Leeds and Sheffield bases.

The Role and its Responsibilities

Working under guidance from the Project Manager you must successfully deliver in the following areas:

• Ensure that works are completed on time, within budget and to agreed standards
• Identification of risks 
• Putting in place mitigation measures
• Management of sub-contractors and team performance 
• Supporting the PM
• Attending design meetings 
• Final handover

The Individual

The company are looking to offer the position to an candidate who is ambitious and able to work on their own initiative. You will be able to communicate well and be a good team player and be prepared to travel.
