The Client

Our client is a leading global contractor in the building services market and deliver projects throughout the UK for their clients. Self-delivering the MEP on a prestigious Northampton based new build scheme they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Project Engineer to work on this £70 million M&E project.

The Role and its Responsibilities

You must display proficiency and confidence in the following areas:

• Support of all technical aspects of the mechanical installation
• Interpretation and adaptation of designs
• Ensure a good working relationship alongside the electrical project engineer 
• Reporting to the Project Manager on works
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as laid out in contracts 
• Regular attendance of meetings with the client 
• Keeping the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Management of the sub-contractors 

The Individual

You must be up to date with a H&S legislations and be able to run a high value, sometimes pressured project. 

Skills and Qualifications

HNC/HND qualified

Salary and Package

£45-58K plus package.
