The Client

Our client is a prestigious M&E services provider offering award winning tailormade packages for their customers. Covering all areas within the M&E field, from design to installation, they excel at providing cost effective, bespoke solutions for projects and have a requirement for a Mechanical Project Engineer on a project in South Manchester.

The Role and its Responsibilities

The project is on a prestigious Hotel New Build South of Manchester and as an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer you will need to display proficiency in the following areas:

• Working on designs at the initial and ongoing phases to improve the results for both client and company and contributing to a more financially sound outcome for all parties.
• Working to deadlines
• Commercial awareness
• Working knowledge of supply chains, legislations, and sub-contractors
• Successful record of co-ordination, delivery, and handover of projects.
• Management of budget and timeframes of works.
• Overseeing of Health and Safety throughout works.
• Successful working relationships with Electrical counterpart 
• Management of sub-contractors, suppliers and materials and confident support of site teams.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels on major projects

The Individual

The client is looking for a motivated, time served candidate who is able to communicate effectively in this role. You must be a great team worker with an in-depth knowledge of the industry.  

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC level qualification, or equivalent, in Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in a similar role.

Salary and Package

£48-50K dependant on experience brought to this role. Favourable benefits.
