The Role and its Responsibilities
Required to successfully set up the site for the Project Manager to begin their role
Work on the design elements and estimating for the site start up
Full responsibility for the Mechanical pre-construction phase
Work to budget and time constraints
Ensure adherance to interal and external legislations and procedures
Manage the design phase, amending and adjusting as required to maximize project success
Overseeing the project contracts
Ensure sub-contractors are experienced to site and project requirements
Represent the company in meetings in a professional matter
Report production
Tender submittal
Ensuring the H&S on site
Management of supply chains to optimum effectiveness
The Individual
The company are looking for an excellent team motivator and leader for the Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager role and you should also be an effective communicator with staff, contractors and managemen alike. Your workload should be managed effectively and you should be commercially aware within the mechanical field. Experience will be necessary in the areas of Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Design and pre-contract negotiations to ensure the successful running of your projects.
Skills and Qualifications
HNC or equivalent in Building Services Engineering
Experience in a similar role
Ability to lead and influence
