The Client

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Pre Construction Manager for our client who delivers fully project managed M&E services throughout the UK. You will be working alongside 2 estimators and a Pre Construction Manager and the role will be based from their Manchester office. The company have multiple offices nationwide, so can provide local expertise with their workforces. They provide tailor made projects within varied sectors of the M&E field, particularly within the areas of hotel and student accomodations.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical pre-construction works
• Keeping the project in line with all procedures, company policies and all relevant legislation's
• Effective management of financial costings and timings to ensure maximum profitability
• Responsibile for the sub-contractors suitability to ensure health and safety compliance on site
• Capable of representing the company on projects and able to take responsibility for decision making relating to works
• Regular attendance at meetings to report project progress, review contracts and handover the projects
• Be able to adhere to company procedures
• Complete documentation for deadlines
• Manage supply chains to optimum effectiveness.

The Individual

The client is looking for an individual who can effectively lead and influence on projects, an individual who is commercially aware. 

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC qualified (or equivalent) in Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience

Salary and Package

£55-63K pa plus company benefits and car/allowance
