The Client

We are working with our client who have an excellent industry reputation working within their fields of pharmaceuticals, energy, nuclear, water and life sciences. The company provide easily implemented solutions for their clients as they have in house teams to deal with every aspect of the projects from conception to completion. They are currently looking to expand their pre-construction team and are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join them at their offices in Warrington.  

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Interpretation of clients requirements
• Production of detailed bids
• Research of materials, equipment and labour costs for tenders
• Risk assesment
• Preparation and submittal of quotes for project
• Monitoring project to ensure budget being adhered to
• Attend client and colleague meetings

The Individual

The company is looking to review CV's from candidates who are good forward planners. You must have an excellent working knowledge of supply chains and sub-contractors and a fine eye for detail. The ability to build and maintain good workplace relationships is a requirement of this role and you should also be able to work well as part of a team. 

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/NHD/Degree in an industry relevant subject
• Broad knowledge of the industry
• IT literate and estimation software proficient

Salary and Package

The company is offering a great package of £50-55K plus company benefits and a car/allowance
