Our client offers an extensive range of services for air conditioning and ventilation in a variety of sectors including healthcare, office and schools. They are recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to join its team in Manchester.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As part of the Mechanical Estimating team you will be required to be experienced in the following areas:

• Producing accurate, competitive and successful bids
• Use of industry knowledge with relevance to labour, materials, suppliers etc. 
• Time and budget management
• Production of monthly costings reports alongside other departments 

The Individual

The company require a time served Mechanical Estimator who can work as part of a team and applicants must be professional, enthusiastic, confident, and persuasive to ensure the success of this role. 

Skills and Qualifciations

The successful candidate will have an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification, excellent commercial acumen, and a good working knowledge of computerised estimating software.

Salary and Package

£40-50K plus company package
