The Role and its Responsibilities

As Mechanically biased Contracts Manager you must be proficient in the following areas:

• Overseeing projects from the start through to the completion of the works, ensuring the successful completion of the works on schedule and within budget. 
• Appointment of teams to work on project and management of contracts 
• Procurement of labour and materials
• H&S contract adherance
• Attendance of regular progress meetings to update both the client and company
• Ability to work alongside other company teams (eg. BID Management) to win works.

The Individual
Our client is looking to recruit a commercially aware candidate with a good working knowledge of Mechanical Building Services projects. A confident individual, able to communicate well with clients and deal with their requirements effectively, you must have up to date knowledge of contract law, accounting and administration and have experience with relevant IT software.
