Our Manchester based client who specialise in data centre D&B and infrastructure are recruiting for a full time, permanent Management Accountant to join their team. Due to their current expansion plans, they require an ambitious applicant who is capable of supporting the Financial Controller with the month end accounts and general running of the finance department.  

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Engagement with Operations and Account Managers
• Monthly management accounts
• Monthly and Weekly Revenue Recognition Analysis 
• Costs and Variance Analysis
• Audit preparation and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Project Margin Analysis 
• Monthly Payroll including overhead analysis 
• Cash Management
• Budgets and Forecasts
• Developing internal controls and process improvements 
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations

As this role is a newly created position within the company and will be a key position within the department, the company require an confident individual who can work to drive the business forward, supporting all areas to reach this goal. Skills and Qualifications

• Newly qualified or nearly completed ACCA/CIMA qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel
• Process/system improvement
• Understanding of Contract Accounting and software experience preferable, however not essential 

Salary and Package

£30-45K plus excellent company package
