Our client is a long established manufacturing engineering company who have many blue chip clients within diverse disciplines such as nuclear, off-shore, defence etc and we are currently recruiting for a Major Projects Quality Inspector.
The Role and its Responsibilities
In the Major Projects Quality Inspectors role your responsibilities will be:
Communication of deviance's at earliest opportunity
Work with Client inspection teams to verify in-process product
Produce surveillance reports when required
Liaise with managers regarding suggested or or applied charges
Completion of all inspection, NDT and other documentation and reporting of these to Managers
Support and contribution to SHEQ improvements
Produce contract specific documentation
Ensure effective traceability of records
The Individual
Our client requires an experienced Quality Inspector who is willing to travel to the companies other manufacturing sites, and to client and suppliers when necessary.
You should have good communication skills and be able to produce clear reports/procedures utilising good observational and problem solving skills.
Skills and Qualifications
Formal Quality Qualification
Weld Inspection Qualification
Dimensional check experience
Ideally with experience in a nuclear or defence industry with an engineering qualification
Salary and Package
