The Client

Our client, a successful, Midlands-based M&E Contractor, is seeking an experienced Project/M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Providing integrated building services or standalone mechanical or electrical services from inception through to project completion, they offer design through to installation and commissioning services.

The Role and its Responsibilities

The Project Quantity Surveyor will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for:

• Valuation of works and dealing with variations
• Commercial and contractual risks
• Working to timescales
• Budget and cost controlling
• Invoice and payment of customers and suppliers
• Report compilation for company and client 
• Client relations
• Risk Management

The Individual

The client is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor who has direct experience within the M&E field. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organized and able to prioritise workloads.

Skills and Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
