The Role

We work in partnership with this client to assist them finding the best and most suitable candidates. The role is for an M&E Project Manager to be based at the development at Manchester Airport, to be a part of the process for both the new terminal and also for the re appointment of the existing terminal. 

It's a phenomenal and key project in the North West and one to absolutely be a part of. There is a £1bn programme to upgrade and reconfigure existing assets and improve service to customers globally. 

You will operationally manage core projects or programmes of work to deliver defined objectives. 

Responsible for the coordination of MEP across the programme to ensure that requirements needed for the end state are accounted for and are coordinated with the other disciplines. 

Engagement of the digital, operational, asset and contractor teams to ensure the transition for handing the assets into use goes smoothly. 

You will be accountable for delivery of a project or a low number of projects with reasonable complexity up to £50M in value – to budget, quality and time metrics. 

Responsible for setting project delivery approach and plan in consultation with key stakeholders.

Responsible for establishing project delivery plans and appropriate control mechanisms to assure delivery. 

The Individual

You will be an experienced M&E Project Manager, with major building reconfiguration projects to a value of £50M in a live operational environment. 

Strong MEP experience (Aviation experience would be a fantastic asset to have within your CV).

Knowledge of asset handover processes and engagement with operational / asset teams.

Expert level expertise in project management.

Knowledge of own area managed and an understanding of wider programmes and business.

Experience of managing business relationships at senior management level. 

Qualifications

Masters Degree or equivalent or a HND /HNC in MEP related Studies
