The Client

Our client is a Tier 1 contractor who provide sustainable built environment projects for their clients. They are looking to secure an experienced M&E Project Engineer to join a project team based in Cumbria and you should have experience at working on large projects in a building services background with a Tier 1 contractor. The role is contract and as you will be required to cover the M&E on the project this should also be reflected in your CV.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Support the technical aspects of the M&E installation
• Interpretation and adaption of designs
• Ensure the works confirm to quality, environmental and safety standards
• Support the Senior PM
• Meeting attendance
• Working within time and budget scales
• Adherance to H&S
• Co-ordination of design package
• Record maintenance

The Individual

A preferred candidate will be able to problem solve and be organised within their work. You should be self-motivated and be able to keep works to a high standard. As the role is also a MOD facility you should be able to obtain security clearance. 

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/D level qualification in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Working knowledge of the role within high value projects
• CSCS card

Salary and Package

The company is offering an extremely favourable rate for this cotract role and there will also be an overtime rate of time and a  half for weekends.
