The Client

Mech Electrics are recruiting for a High Voltage Project Manager to be based in the North-West. Our client, who we have worked with extensively for many years, works within the area of providing sustainable energy solutions and district heating and they are looking for a candidate who has previous experience in this field or who is interested in building a career in this area. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Company site visits
• Ensuring all HV is correct and operational with the design team at concept stage
• To oversee that correct supply is adopted in a safe and logical manner
• Management of clients and site engineers
• Management of project installations
• Up to date with H&S legislations
• Working on contracts 
• Report writing and presentation
• Meeting with clients

The Individual

An ideal candidate should have previous Project Management experience preferably within the field of renewable energies and be able to manage this role effectively. You should have excellent IT skills, a solid working knowledge of HV systems, commercial experience and a valid driving license.

Skills and Qualifications

• Electrically biased background including a relevant Degree (or equivalent) qualification in electrical engineering 
• IOSH 
• CSCS
• Up to date Electrical Qualifications

Salary and Package

£55-65k per annum, including a car allowance and company healthcare and pension schemes.
