The Client

We have worked with our client for many years and are currently recruiting for a Facilites Manager Quantity Surveyor to join the companies North-West team. Our client specialises in design through to maintenance of sustainable energy solutions and caters to both private and public businesses. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced QS, preferably from a FM background, to commercially manage a number of O&M contracts. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a range of skills including;

• Relationship building and maintenance with customers and suppliers – to encourage effective working relationships, prompt payment and credit control
• Submitting client quotes by accurately pricing up works 
• Procurement for Plant, Materials, and Sub-Contract packages – ensuring most effective provision is used
• Negotiation of prices and terms throughout the O&M process, including any ensuing contractual compensation.
• Preparation of accurate purchase orders as well as payment notices
• Prompt and accurate processing of invoices
• Regular internal reporting in CVR’s etc.
• The ability to commercially manage a number of contracts simultaneously is essential.

Salary and Package

£45-50K plus package.
