The Client

Our client who we are currently doing extensive recruiting for, has an opportunity for an highly motivated and career driven Financial Accountant. This will be a new role within the company, who are a market leader in the world of D&B of data centres and their infrastructure.  

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly finance reporting to iclude P&L, B/S and cashflow and supporting analyses
• Fixed Asset Register maintainance and updating of
• Month and Year-End reporting and reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
• Supporting group's balance sheet through production of comprehensive reconciliations 
• Preparing regular and ad hoc financial and non-financial reports
• Provision of information for audit purposes and preparation of multiple company and statuatory accounts to support the Financial controller 
• VAT expertise, to include EU trade, VAT deferment and CIS reverse charge
• Continuation of the development of robust financial controls 
• Management of Accounts Payable function, linking to Procurement
• Training and development of finance team
• Control of SAGE 200 administration

The Individual

An ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to manage the development of the financial team to ensure the ongoing success of the department.

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant role qualifications (CIMMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Working knowledge of Excel

Salary and Package

£40-50K plus car/allowance and company package
