The Role
We have been asked to recruit an Electrical Site Manager for a full time position. The company are ready to recruit and would be able to start the right Manager to the role in June due to continued growth.
You will support an Electrical Project Engineer, ensuring the project is progressed at site level, completed on time and installed to the highest standards.
The role will ensure the work is installed to the correct specification and requirements whilst maintaining the projects budget. You will ensure the install adheres to current legislation, engineering standards and company procedures.
The Individual
You will lead and manage a high performance team through good people management skills and practices.
Ensuring full compliance with the H&S policy and all current legislation.
You will carry out safety inductions, review of risk assessments and method statements, checking and verifying the site team's credentials to make sure they are competent and installing within the H&S guidelines.
You will work with the Engineer by making material requisitions as required, in good time to reach site to ensure the work flows.
Assisting with problem solving of clashes on site, by discussing the issues with all members of the team, contractor and client and encourage a good working environment, at all times representing your employer.
Previous experience in this role is essential. You will work on site almost upon joining the company and be able to demonstrate previous experience at this level.
Qualifications
City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 or NVQ level 2 and 3.
City & Guilds 2382: 17th Edition amendment or current edition
Qualified to City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2, 2330 Level 2&3, 2381, 2382, 2361, 2362, 2391, 2392, 2380 & 2394, 2395, 2365.
CSCS Card (Supervisor)
Full UK Driving Licence
SSSTS Card.
Remuneration
This is a full time and permanent position at 40 hours per week. Working hours will be Monday – Friday, 08.00am – 5.00pm and may require overtime when required.
The role will be based around sites in the Nottingham area.
