Summary:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Site Engineer (T1 Supervisor) to join the team working on a major project at Manchester Airport, valued at over £100M. This project involves the refurbishment of the existing Terminal 2 and the construction of a new departure pier.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical bias and will be responsible for effectively managing and monitoring the safety performance, resource deployment, and productivity of all site-based activities for the project.

Key Deliverables:

  • Review the project scope of works, including installation methods, to ensure precise provision of the customer’s requirements while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
  • Contribute to and lead the delivery of the project programme, carrying out associated duties in accordance with the Supervisor Responsibility Matrix.
  • Understand the financial and commercial objectives within the area of control, ensuring the engineering solutions are managed and installation is deployed to achieve these objectives.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to project management for inclusion in site progress and financial reporting templates, as required.
  • Manage all direct and indirect frontline workforce, including T2 and T3 supervision, within a specific project or designated area of control. This includes deploying a high level of engagement and communication to maximize team performance, setting clear expectations, cascading company messages, and offering guidance and feedback to ensure objectives are met.
  • Maintain regular dialogue and positive relationships with the project customer through efficient delivery of project objectives.

Requirements:

Candidates with experience working on large Electrical projects as a Site Manager or Site Engineer are encouraged to apply.
