Job Title: Electrical Project Manager – Building Services

Location: Oldham office with site visits and potential of some hybrid working

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum, plus car and benefits

About our client:

Our client is a specialist building services contractor with a very healthy order book. They are a leading provider of innovative and high-performance solutions in the data centre/critical infrastructure sector. With a proven track record of delivering successful projects, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team with a view to overseeing some key projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the installation of electrical services into new build/refurb projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of electrical engineers and project personnel.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure project teams meet or exceed expectations.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality results.

Education and Skills:

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager (Building Services), with a successful track record of managing complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Proven experience in project management and team coordination.
  • Any experience working on data centre projects is advantageous but not essential
