The Client

Fully experienced in providing all aspects of building services our client offers design through to maintenance packages for its projects nationwide. Specialising in hotel and student accommodations, they have numerous local offices supporting their projects throughout the UK and they currently require two experienced and capable Electrical Project Engineers to join its North-West team.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Support all technical aspects of the electrical installation
• Interpret and adapt designs
• Work compatably alongside the Mechanical Project Engineers 
• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in contracts 
• Regularly attend meetings with the client and keep your PM updated 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Manage sub-contractors 
• Commercial awareness within the role
• Knowledge of industry legislation
• Health and Safety knowledge up to date
• Experience with supply chain and contacts

The Individual

The client is looking for efficient, time served Electrical Project Engineers who are happy in their role and can support the PM's they work with.  

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, or equivalent
• Role experience on a wide range of projects
• Several years' experience in an Electrical Project Engineer role
• CSCS card
