The Client

Our client is a successful building services provider based in the Midlands, and due to a full order book they are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Midlands team. You will be working on projects of up to £4 million.

The Role and its Responsibilities

The role will require a fully experienced Electrically biased Project Engineer who can fulfill the vacancy as listed below:

• Ability to interpret electrical designs and the technical ability to make these designs into a successful project
• Have a successful track record of co-ordination, delivery, and handover of projects.
• Management of budget and timeframes.
• Overseeing of Health and Safety throughout the works.
• Be able to successfully work alongside the Mechanical Project Engineer 
• Production of regular progress reports for the Project Manager 
• Attend meetings when required.
• Management of sub-contractors, suppliers and materials and confident support of site teams.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels on major projects

The Individual

The applicant must be a confident individual who can work well as part of a team. You must be able to communicate well and be able to motivate and manage your team effectively. You will be a skillful negotiator ensuring contracts are completed safely, on schedule and to the clients’ satisfaction. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Educated to HNC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the role of Electrical Project Engineer.

Salary and Package

£50-55K plus car/allowance
