Our client, a leading Electrical Specialist Contractor, manages large integrated security solutions on behalf of some of the UK’s leading design-and-build contractors and mechanical and electrical consultants.
They supply and install all aspects of security systems including; CCTV, Access Control, Fire and Physical Barrier Protection, Audio and Video Communication Systems, General Alarm Systems, and many more…
They are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to oversee the installation of CCTV within a live CAT B prison environment. You will work on this project from 'cradle to grave'. You will manage your own time and you will work alongside some highly experienced and qualified members of the operations team. 
The Role and its Responsibilities

• Supporting all technical aspects of the electrical installation
• Interpreting and adapting designs
• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as agreed in contracts
• Regular attendance at client meetings
• Keeping the project to cost and on schedule
• Management of labour etc.

 
The Individual
The Client is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer who has ideally worked with the installation of security systems previously. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well alongside colleagues and staff.
 
Skills and Qualifications
HNC level Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification.
 
Salary and Package
Attractive rate and great prospects. This is a thriving company who have been established for many years and have a busy portfolio of projects and many projects pending. Although this is a 6-8 month contract role, there may well be the realistic prospect of moving you on to further projects on successful completion of this project.
