The Client 

An Electrical Project Engineer contract position is available with our client, a leading force in the security system installation sector in the UK. This role will last for around 6 – 8 months and is based in Northampton. Your role will be to install security systems on a major design & build prison project, with a high M&E value and is one of many ongoing and future projects for our client.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As Electrical Project Engineer on this project you must display proficiency and confidence in the following areas:

·Support of all technical aspects of the electrical installation of security systems

·Interpretation and adaptation of designs

·Ensure good working relationships with M&E Contractor and other trades on site 

·Monitoring project and reporting to the Project Manager

·Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in contracts 

·Regular attendance of meetings with the client and operational teams

·Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time

·Management of sub-contractors 

The Individual

As an experienced Electrical Project Engineer you should be fully up to date with H&S requirements and be able to work in a busy and productive environment. Any experience gained within the installation of security systems in a construction environment, will be advantageous.

Skills and Qualifications

HNC/HND qualified or equivalent

Salary and Package

Competitive day rate of up to £250 day.
